Past simple
We use the present simple to talk about regular things that happened in the passed.
To ask about a specific day or event that happened in the past we use the simple past. Did you walk or drive to work last Friday? I drove to work (Past simple) What did you do last night? I watched television. NOTE 'do' when used as an auxiliary verb can be used with 'do' as a main verb.
